About Us

Jim enjoyed his career in the construction business as a general contractor in San Francisco remodeling historic homes and building restaurants and office buildings.  In his free time, Jim has enjoyed puttering with his classic cars for the last 25 years.

Barbara worked in engineering management in the US and Europe; first concentrating in the energy industry and later building research and philanthropic partnerships for Northwestern, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and Vanderbilt Universities and Medical Centers.  Barbara enjoys reading, oil painting, and her grandchildren.

Together we have a blended family of three daughters and eight grandchildren (and one on the way).  We were thrilled to be called on a humanitarian mission and to be assigned to the Kurdistan region of Iraq in the Middle East/Africa North area for Latter-day Saint Charities.
